An der Bowerre habe ich als Kind viel Zeit verbracht. Die Herforder Innenstadt war mein Spielplatz. Heute erinnert nur noch eine Plakette an den kleinen Nebenarm der Werre, Herfords Hauptfluss.

I spent a lot of time by the Bowerre as a child. Herford's city center was my playground. Today, only a plaque commemorates this small tributary of the Werre, Herford's main river.
